Happy Veterans day..

I know this is late. but happy veterans day. I would like to take some time to talk about all my relatives and In laws that I know about that fought to make this country have continual peace first of all I had a great uncle served in world war 1, my Grandpa and his brothers all served in World War 2, my Mom's brother, and my Father-in-law for severing in Vietnam. and finally my Mom's brother-in-law for serving over 20 years in National Guard. I remember first Iraq war where my uncle went to Germany to serve while the men who would normally be in Germany could go to Iraq. I remember that My mom would show support to troops by volunteering to baby sit kids, while the wifes got updates about what is going on in the war and to their spouses. I remember on the National guard Base in Muscatine Ia. seeing the soldiers prepare physically at the gym and later after exercise in there uniform with the greatest respect and honor for there sacrifice. I love our Nation I think it is the best nation in the World. Because our faith in god made it that way. May god our Father bless our soldiers around the world during this unease time of Economical and political unrest.

V, is it a V or is it a 5

well the statement is true in one way the show is self is about 5. has the Sci fi world come to this where we are looking at shows and movies that have already been done. but wait they can tell it differently. when I heard about this show that shows on ABC I thought well what's the harm I could watch one episode. well I think its like a really old episode of twilight zone where the these aliens come from another planet and offer hope, peace,love etc. but it just turns our that they are just monsters that wishes to eat humans. I must say how ever glen beck does make an excellent point the Aliens do remind me of politicians. but this is one show I will not be watching. there was not enough Blowing things up.

SG-U it is SG or just anthoer Battle Star Wanna Be

As I was watching the pilot episode of SG-U I wondered if I had seen some of the military actors before On battle star Galactica in fact after meeting Dr Rush in the SG-U series he reminds me of Dr. Guyus Baltair of Battle Star Galactica. I am not sure if I really consider this a Star Gate franchise. you Don't get the happy bomb feeling that only Col. O'Neill (two L's) that bring you instead you get a feeling of survival. like battle star Galactica. what heck is a character like ELI doing in Star Gate Universe you don't get Dr. Daniel Jackson or Dr. McKay feel instead you get a Crazy kid who likes to play online games too much. The soldiers seem to young to be Star Gate Franchise. The pilot episode in my opinion (which probably does not count for much is like 3 out 10) How ever you could get better over time. but I think tit will be too dark, and therefore not really a Star Gate show.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Does anyone remember during the 2008 campaign that Obama promised that he would not Tax anyone who makes less than 250,000 dollars a year. well he was kind of telling the truth he did not raise the income tax on those who make less than 250,000 dollars. How ever with new cap and trade bill that will more than likely get passed. we will have to pay more for our energy bills. speaking of energy bills who pays for white house energy bills oh yes we do. well I hope is planning on personal changing all of his incandescent bulbs with compact florescent bulbs, Because that is the green thing to do. basically here is what is going to happen the Government is going to be able to tax energy companies for not being green, and in turn they will raise the rates on us. um is anyone reading the bills in Congress anymore. Since the rates are going up this maybe my last entry I may not be able to pay for my electric bill. but don't worry everyone it just me rambling so I might be blowing everything out of proportion. but at least I will have free health care, and maybe my wonderful Government Motors car Formally General Motors.

Give Capitalism a Chance

Now, you all may know I like to ramble that is what makes me mad (Crazy). and Maybe I see things just a little different then most people. but I have a dumb question for all of us. Is not our Economy setup so that 1. People decided what product and companies should stay in business? 2. so that failing business fail for a reason and usually a big and better company takes over? Now please don't get me wrong I love to help people out I am for a government for the people and by the people and even to help the people. but I am not for the government for the companies. which is why if notice I have a nice little graphic on the top of the post one important reason if you are like me and think that all this bail out stuff is bogus then please take this graphic post on your blog or facebook or whatever. remember give capitalism a chance because it maybe the only thing that will save us in the end.

ABDC (ANTI BAD DAY CAMPAIGN)

well have you ever had a day that just wish did not happen no this above video did not happen to me. Well I am tired of Bad Days. So I am starting an Anti Bad Day Campaign. (ABDC) I know what you are thinking this will not be like my Campaign to end presidents day and get Washington and Lincoln birthdays separated to have 2 days off instead of 1. or like the my Campaign to bring back Star Gate SG1. But I will start this one for sure look for it.

a letter to GM and Chrysler.

dear CEO's GM and Chrysler,

since you guys car want my tax money the next time I go into a dealership don't check my credit just give the car that I want for free. I think you owe it too me for taking my tax money. but I do have some solutions for you I mean with the issue not selling any cars. 1. make your cars more affordable, no one wants to take 2nd or 3rd mortgage out on there home to get a car. take the average wage person makes around 10.00 to 14.00 hr, so multiply that by 8 then by 5 that should tell you how much they make if people barely make 2000 dollars a month what makes you think that they can afford 1900 car payment. 2. when a business is failing usually CEO bosses etc usually have to start making sacrifices maybe putting that 6 month trip to Hawaii with you bonuses might be a good thing to cut back. take you family and the family car too a park or east or west coast beach instead. you may find out that is not the money you spend on the vacation it is the quality time you spend. 3. be honest about your price. if a 30,000 dollar is really only built using 6000 maybe do a little mark up and tell your customers hey this how much it cost to produce this is how much we are going to sell it for. for more help just send me letter back

Faith in Stimlus or in God.

I have been wondering a long time if I should post this on my blog or website or something or not. I am not always great with words most of the time words is what gets me in to so much trouble. but I feel that this issue is very important to me. I have been wondering for long time if we have been putting our faith in the wrong team. I mean back when things where going great and economy as whole was doing good. and some of my attitudes as well as others well was we still have time to save and to store food. and help the poor. and do this good thing and that good thing and maybe a year or so ago we felt like our banks would not fail us. our investors and wall street will not fail us. but I wonder if we should have done more good like saving for ourselves and family and friends stored our food storage. and helped others when we could. I think we have put our faith as it says in the scriptures in other gods instead of trusting god and his servants the prophets by storing food and saving up and helping others. we bought things on credit sold ourselves for things that 1. don't really matter that much 2. homes and cars and other things that we really could not afford. I hope that this lesson I personal have learned that I never for get to trust god and his servants and not in stimulus plans bail out plans and things of this world. think we would have saved in time of plenty we could have helped others in there problems Mr. Jones did not have to loose his house. Mr and Mrs smith could have feed there children. I mean I am not talking about the guys with homeless please help me sign I am talking about our friends and family who are close to us. all in all the bottom line of what I am trying to say is that we sit at home and blame the government and banks and failed business because of the economy but in all reality it was us individually who made it bad our bad spending we spent because Jones bought that big house so can I the smiths bought a 3000 dollar TV so can I let me just buy it over time. The question that a lot of investors seem to be having is when will the economy recover? the answer is probably when we want to. when selfish is replaced selflessness and god is once again in our fair wonderful country. But I know deep down inside it will all work out so how and so way.

The end of Battle Star Galatica

since 2004 people have been waiting to see the doomed civilization of humans in a distant Galaxy and planet called Caprica. and finally March 20, 2009 the last episode aired. I personally think it was probably best the episode of the whole series excluding the first mini series parts. There was a lot of disappointment along the way during the series. at times it was too deep and too much drama. at times it was like watching day of lives and other times it was like watching a generic Sci-fi action flick. but it did not start getting really interesting until it became more of a mystery. and they did so slowly so that was not a cut and dry series. at times I felt like the series was really dark and Disturbing which the creators called it "it wanted to make it more real" reality in TV is as only good if the general people can relate to the characters or to there situations. it some instances they could in others it was too far fetched for example how many people have fallen in love with a women who is really a killing Robot. but there was some really good situations and or characters that you could identify with like Admiral Adama's son who at the beginning of show had a shaky relationship with his father. I don't want to ruin the ending of the show for those who have no seen it. but it did answer all questions and did not leave the audience with a feeling that there would be a sequel. but I think people should judge for for themselves

Marriage is a privilege.

man prop 8 passed 5 months ado but yet I see again that Activist are still trying to pin the blame on an organization when people in this country are free to choose what to believe. this is silly you lost end of story. democratic process showed what the people want. that is the way out founding fathers set it up. let me give you 411 on rights VS privilege I have been taught all my life. when I get in troube weather it was with mom and dad, or the law I had the right to remain silent. I Have a right to work to be hired due to my qualifications for the job. I have a right to speak my mind for or against anything no matter how dumb it sounds. I have a right to vote. but Driving is no a right it i privilege. it is privege to be married my marriage with wonderful girl is the best the thing happended to me. in retro spect Right is something you don't have to pay for like choosing right from wrong. but a privilege is something that you have to commit and follow certain rules in order to be qualified. so please don't tell me that it is a Right. anyways I feel there is nothing wrong with using democratic process to help change laws that is our right as American citizens but accusing poeple of things that they are not responsible for is just wrong. I Love America because I believe in justice and freedom. it is easy to attack an organization harder to attack a person because most people won't stand for it.

AIG Solutions

Dear President of the United States,

I have solution for you and the whole AIG thing and as the President and CEO of AIG. I will work for only wages. and no bonuses, well maybe one bonus I would like a free pizza on mondays, and video Game day on friday. but other than that I would be happy. and since I am a tax payer and my money and childrens money is being spent on this company, I figure you could give me the job.
